Since "The Art of Balance," Shadows Fall's bravery in showcasing great improvements in their songwriting has risen to such a level that you'd like them to fail. Being a hardcore-plus-metal band while they were starting up, Shadows Fall is one of those unafraid musical warriors whose got the balls to step out of the box and add something old to win back the old timers and show the new kids how it was. And so much for the expectations of the lovers and the not, Shadows Fall once again is successful in their crusade.
