Muse Sing: Slipping Away with No Umbrella

In this rainy and cold days of September, getting warm, or hot wet, and lazy in bed with a soothing music no one other but, the only, Cynthia Alexander could paint is like nirvana if I were a meditating karmic bald guy or sanctity if, again, I were a kneeling, cross faith-ed, Jesus wafer eating good guy among many other sky hopers. This week's Muse Sing, step back Barbie and Kitchie, is all Cynthia Alexander's Insomnia & Other Lullabyes.

Muse Sing: Shadows Fall - Threads Of Life

This weeks Muse Sing is special. It's going to be all "Threads of Life." The cool new album of Shadows Fall.

Since "The Art of Balance," Shadows Fall's bravery in showcasing great improvements in their songwriting has risen to such a level that you'd like them to fail. Being a hardcore-plus-metal band while they were starting up, Shadows Fall is one of those unafraid musical warriors whose got the balls to step out of the box and add something old to win back the old timers and show the new kids how it was. And so much for the expectations of the lovers and the not, Shadows Fall once again is successful in their crusade. Releasing, yet again, an album that'll surely be part of every metalhead's collections.

Song: Failure Of The Devout

Song: Another Hero Lost

Song: Forevermore

Muse Sing: First Drop

Once a week, I will be musing about music. The "soundtrack of their lives" for most a muse sing for me.

Artist: In Flames
Album: Come Clarity
Song: Take This Life

In Flames, the hammer of the nail called "Melodeath" was expected to slow down to refuel with melody but their latest best selling album yet was not what was expected. And "Take This Life" is like a full-metal boot treading on your head in Beethoven's precision times infinity.

Artist: Mishka Adams
Album: God Bless The Child
Song: God Bless The Child

A perfect lullaby for the mama's boys. And a perfect wake up song to getting laid at dawn. God bless us, childs!

Artist: Broken Social Scene
Album: Broken Social Scene
Song: Our Faces Split The Coast In Half

Treasures are buried. Dig in to the vocals. You might find some treasure. But I'm not saying...I'm just saying the vocals are too buried.
